Hi Ward Family!
As your ward’s Social Media Representative, I wanted to share a little bit about why our presence on social media matters and how we can all help!
Our goal is to increase our presence on our public Stake Facebook page so we can show our community who we are as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, especially as we prepare for the temple.
Social media is a wonderful way to be a missionary without the badge—no knocking on doors required! It gives us the opportunity to share the love of Christ, the blessings of the gospel, and the ways our faith impacts our everyday lives.
It’s also important that when people search for information about our Church, our stake, or our beliefs, they can find authentic experiences and stories from real members who live the gospel. Every little post helps others see who we are and what we believe.
So, how can you help?
We invite everyone to consider sharing something on our public Stake Facebook page! It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate. It could be:
A small way you’ve seen the love of Christ in your life.
Something you’ve learned through studying the gospel.
A blessing you’ve experienced through your faith.
A meaningful experience with your family, ward, or fellow members.
A favorite scripture, testimony, or message that has strengthened you.
Your experiences, no matter how big or small, can make a difference and help others feel the love of our Savior.
A quick note: Posts go through an approval queue, so they may take a few hours or even a day or two to appear on the page. If you submit something, feel free to let me know so I can keep an eye out for it!
Thank you all for being willing to share your light and help our community get to know us. Every story is an opportunity to share the gospel, strengthen our community, and invite others to feel the love of Jesus Christ.
